In keeping with the recommendations of the American Dental Association, our team encourages patients to bring kids to see us for a checkup after the eruption of their first tooth or before their first birthday.
Should my kid wear a custom sportsguard?
The most important thing is that your child is wearing the appropriate protective equipment. However, custom sportsguards can be much more comfortable, so your child is more likely to wear the guard consistently.
How can I help my child avoid cavities?
Start with thorough at-home care and regular visits to the dentist. If your child needs a little extra help preventing tooth decay, we also provide dental sealants and fluoride treatments to protect and strengthen tooth enamel to reduce the risk for decay.
Can I call if there’s an emergency?
We are happy to work with patients who are experiencing a dental emergency. Our dedicated team is always here when patients need us most. Call right away if your child has a toothache or dental damage, so we can get started helping them put the smile back on their face.
